This photo was taken when I was a clown in the hometown parade in Cuba City where my mother used to live. Mom always dressed up for the parade and one year she invited me to clown-around with her. There weren’t too many opportunities to do things with my mother when I was growing up, so this is one of the fun memories of my mother. —Suzanne
