So far I've made six quilts for Paul. He arrived five weeks early, caught me off guard, and I was concerned that I might be sewing in the waiting room while his mother was in labor.

The quilt in the bottom right-hand corner was made from left-overs and it's my son and daughter-in-law's favorite. (Paul hasn't voted yet.) I was panicked when I was putting the border on the quilt because I came up short in one of the corners. So I sewed a left-over piece of colored material into the border, and if I do say so myself, it looks like it was an "artistic" meant-to-be. Aren't left-overs wonderful?

Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.
