I found my turkey Thanksgiving plates in an antique store. The two wooden figures were carved for me by a former student of mine. I used to teach a cooking class for kids who were homeschooled.

The student who gave them to me was a real challenge—just the kid that I used to be. I didn't really think he was enjoying the cooking class, but on the last day he gave them to me and thanked me for, "an okay class".

Happy Holidays.

Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.

Tie one piece of ribbon around the stem of the glass.

Put a dab of hot glue on the back of the ribbon, attaching it to the stem.

And then glue the front of the ribbon so it doesn't shift.

These glasses are a sample of what I decorated for this year. And I couldn't resist buying this new tablecloth.
