Dear Suzanne:

Thank you so much for sending me the Valentine's Day ramekins. I'm not in the habit of winning anything very often, so this was a real thrill for me.

So let me tell you, my plan was for my husband to discover the joys of the kitchen while making dessert (your Lava Cake recipe - so EASY!) as his gift to me. But as you can imagine, that didn't work out. He had to work late and I ended up making the Lava Cake while I waited for him to get home. Steve was happy to pose for pictures while he ate dessert though - he loved it, as did I.

Nevertheless, I think I made out well this Valentine's Day. My husband surprised me with a pound of chocolate covered strawberries (my very favorite), I had Lava Cake, and I won the ramekins from you. A day to remember!! It's so nice to celebrate with friends!
