Dear Suzanne The photo is of our staff enjoying the cookies you sent. I can't begin to tell how excited I was when I got the email that I'd won, and how often I explained to our director what a nice service Dear Reader is. We all enjoyed the cookies! I am the one in the all red shirt. And you can tell it's the day after the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup by looking at Heather's jersey. Our library is about 30 miles north of Joe Louis Arena where the Red Wings play so we are definitely fans here. Thank you again for choosing me. I enjoy the bookclub. Dear Suzanne
“Cookie Day will go down in history as one of our happiest events! We are busy putting up a large poster titled, HOW DO YOU DUNK YOUR COOKIES? And we’re including some past cookie winner photos and a picture of Suzanne pulling the cookies out of the oven. We want to make sure everyone knows what’s coming so we can let Suzanne know how “we dunk our cookies!” This is really going to be fun!
Myra Dennis is a retired teacher who works 10 hours a week as a homework helper in Long Beach, California at the Mark Twain Branch Library. She entered the Chocolate Chip Cookie Giveaway so she could share the cookies with everyone at the library.

Hi Suzanne, So sorry our pictures have taken so long to get to you. My friend Trish was on vacation in Florida the week the cookies came and the day she came home I was in a bad auto accident that totaled my car and left me in a whole lot of pain and out of commission for a couple weeks. We have been trying to get together this last week, but I can't seem to get things straight. First I went to Trish's house and forgot the cookies (left them sitting on my dining room table), then I went to where Trish works and forgot the camera. Soooo today I went back to see Trish at work and remembered both the camera and the cookies! Thank goodness your cookies freeze well!! Thank you again for choosing me and the cookies are in their final resting place (our tummies). Trish is on the left and I'm on the right. -- Tracy Howe

Hi Suzanne,
Thanks for the cookies. Here are lots of pictures of me sharing the cookies with people who love reading and cookies as much as I do, especially the little one (don't tell her mom she ate a chocolate chip cookie).
1st pic - Me, sitting on my porch, reading & snacking 2nd pic- my sisters, Karen and Meredith, and my niece, Madeline, enjoying your cookies 3rd pic - Madeline sneaking a cookie while her mom is out of the room. 4th pic - Madeline and her grandmother reading (we like to start young in this family)
All the Finns had a blast eating and posing for pictures. Thanks again, Laura Finn
