cookies0209-BeckyHi Suzanne,
I'm sorry it's taken so long to get this picture and thank you out to you. I've spent most of this week helping my son get ready to move out of state when I wasn't at work. Sadly, I now have not a single child living in the same town with me.

The attached picture is of a few of the Middleford Yan Shop group from last Saturday. Lots of people were out of town for a yarn show. Our photographer Chelsea asked everyone to say "cookies" while she took the picture. I'm afraid I didn't know all the gals there (we have an ever-evolving group), so I will just tell you I'm the one on the right with the gray hair, glasses, and striped shirt with navy sweater. The cookies were wonderful even though they had to go in the freezer for a week because I was sick over the weekend when I planned to take them in. All the girls agreed the cookies were extra delicious and they were nearly all gone when I left a short while after the pictures were taken. Everyone sends a big thank you for a wonderful treat and we so appreciated the kindness you showed in baking cookies especially for us.

Thanks so much, Becky

IN MEMORY

I lost my fellow chocolate chip cookie winner friend Anita, Feb. 9, after 15 years of cancer. She was warm and exasperating and funny...and I loved her dearly. She loved her family, friends and always made me feel valued. My life will be a little less bright without her, but made beautiful just knowing her.

Please run our June cookie picture one more time, if you will, with a memoriam. Anita is the Brunette dunking with me, the blonde. She looked great in this picture, right before she started getting sick again.

Anita got me "hooked" on this book club. Your warmth is so much a part of its appeal. —Jean
