“I am looking for a way to segue your chocolate chip cookies into raising the literacy level of students I teach in a Music Fundamentals Class in Buffalo, New York. My students have a sweet tooth that I would like to feed into so they might enjoy your cookies and read at the book club. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if something as simple as eating a chocolate chip cookie could stoke the creative juices of college freshman? I know these kids would love to eat your cookies and I would love to tell them about your book club. Fondly, Barb


		The big guy in the picture is my husband Alex. Then the ravishing lady in pink is me...Nancy. And then the little guy is Isaiah! Thanks again for the cookies. As you can see, I gave them each one cookie and I am clinging to the bag for dear life! Because I knew that the big cookie monster would eat all my cookies the first chance he got!! Thanks Suzanne! To mimic Rachel Ray the cookies were YUM-O!

The only problem with that plan, is that then I'll have to share these delicious cookies. (Only kidding.) I have shared my story about how I was chosen amongst all your readers to receive these delicious cookies. (A note from Suzanne...) I've been baking cookies for readers for several years now. When I featured Dan’s entry for last month’s cookie contest in my column, hundreds of readers wrote-in saying that if I was planning on choosing their entry as a winner, “Please send my cookies to Dan instead.”

Dan’s original entry...

On the twenty fourth of last month my wonderful wife of almost 65 years went to be with the Lord. This January we would have been married 65 years. She suffered with AZ for a long long time. I keep telling myself she is in a better place, but Oh! how I miss her. While she was in the nursing home for seven years, I went to be with her every morning and stayed until after I fed her lunch. Now I am having trouble knowing how to fill that void thus
I have joined the book club looking for a way to spend my time and I will say it helps a little Thank you for providing this service. God Bless, Dan McLeod
